Will there be an option for multiple custom swatches?

Yes, we have eyes on this being a very popular request.

But, adding multiple swatches, either hardset or customizable, does exponentially increase memory usage by the game, because whether or not you use a certain swatch for machines as they are placed in the world, every single machine always loads the data for every single swatch at all times in the game.

And as long as that is true, or as long as that is risking the point of hard memory usage by just adding one or two more swatches, we're being very careful.

And yeah, there are mods to add more swatch counts, and if you want to use them, go for it.

And why mods can do it, but not we, I honestly could not tell, but I do trust the devs' integrity for... For...
