What are the chances of us getting some sort of supply X amount of components per minute challenge, space, elevator, tier, or otherwise?
Sounds like something that could be fun for only BioView.
For endgame.
Because, yeah, some recurring, or maybe daily, maybe weekly, maybe endless, or maybe super, super large, but ultimately completely optional endgame goal.
Or...
something adjacent to that is pitched very often and we absolutely have eyes on what to do with the end game the reason why making something for the end game post phase 5 and post tier 9 right now besides you know extending the end game with new concrete goals but then that would be just like
Having a new ending rather than a endless or repetitive like cycling challenge mode the main argument for against having that is that One if you reach the end of phase five and you are not a speedrunner Chances or odds are great that you will already have placed at least at least at the bare minimum 100 hours into the game
already.
Which, at that point, there is a great argument for you that you made your money's worth, and it's, I'll say it, it's completely fine to play other games as well.
It is.
Or two, if you play for that much, Satisfactory is a daunting game.
We see reports all the time of people burning out mid-phase 3 or phase 4.
Heck, I do as well.
I burn out mid-phase 3 and have to resort to AGS and cheats, internal cheats, to finish the game at all.
Because it is just getting way too, like, to set up for me.
With everything aluminum, sometimes even oil and above.
And again, trains and I, we are a meme.
If you manage to make it all the way to the end of Phase 5, chances are very good that you love the game to pieces, that you absolutely have an easy time just finding your own content, building whatever you want, which we also see with the highlights all the time, big and small.
You just go crazy in your own world.
So, ultimately, it kind of boils down to...
People either don't reach the endgame anyway, or if they do, we trust that that is definitely enough game for the money, or, again, you are very able to entertain yourselves with what the game provides already.

People are lazy to play a game.
Geez, the game is fine the way it is.
I mean, it definitely still can be not only improved, expanded upon.
I mean, we have already said that something more substantial than one point number lingers in the future.
But all of that is concrete content with hard additions and not something arbitrarily endless.

Community FYI: End-game factory vs. performance, always seem to struggle in the end

The frustrating part for me is that Endgame Factory against game performance always seems to struggle in the end.
Yeah, and that's also ultimately falling into the same arguments for us as to why we are not in a super rush to aggressively increase performance and optimization.
Bluntly, in my own humble opinion as one of the devs of this game,
The system requirements, minimum requirements, for the game to run on PC are remarkable for what the game is.
Even with an empty map, it's remarkable for what the game is.
And the fact that you can build as far as you can do on min requirements
before the game just goes, nah, is great.
And the fact that you can build as far as you can do on max requirements or close to high end requirements, especially when you blow the U object limit manually away from the roof.
At some point,
At some point, the overwhelming majority of feedback we hear about, please increase performance, please let me expand my factories even more, are from people who have put thousands of hours into the game, and who have built monsters of factories, and we're like...
Catering to this side of the player base is fun, but ultimately,
At some point, we're also just like...
Your save takes 8 minutes to load.
It's also half a gigabyte big.
math that we can kind of, you know, work out on ourselves, by ourselves on a player level, that that's probably more a player restriction or lack of restriction issue.
If you play for that much, if you achieve those... 8 list load, is that all?
Yeah, exactly.
If you reach those numbers, chances are good that
it's perfectly fine to be content with that factory um we could never no one no dev in the history of devs right now at least until we make like nuclear nano computers for the average customer can ever make a game that will just expand infinitely and always work just not gonna happen

Steam won't even let you upload your saves to Cloudy for save is greater than half a gigabyte.
Gee, I wonder why.
