Today's stream chat one, we're gonna have plenty of time today to go slowly, have some leeway, because as you can maybe see the highlight section of the stream is gone.

And there is a very good reason for that.

Our automation system that prepares the slideshow after I pick the slides manually, or Jason sometimes, mainly me.

Pick the slides manually and we feed them into our Excel of yeah, we want to showcase these with these comments these names all of these things

We then have an automation system actually sort that out for us to make the formatting consistent and proper.

And that automation system has been on its last legs ever since the days of Snut and even pre-dating me, maybe even Jason.

And that system, that script or whatever in Excel, it finally died.

So I have to repair that.

I could do it manually.

It's not hard work.

It's just like, it's just dull labor and it takes.

A long time if you select every image URL and try to fit it in and then try to resize and compress and make sure everything is consistent, like nothing is sprawling outside of this orange frame on the stream, it's a fucking mess.

First death bomb.

uh so hopefully i have the fix until next week if not i'll figure something out for highlights uh but we'll fix it asap so no highlights today sorry about that rip indeed 5.0 when we're in 12.0.5 next week actually in midnight come join us so yeah no rushing today we'll have plenty of time to talk

Why no highlights this week?

Because, oh yeah, if you just tuned in, our automation system for automating the editing, the formatting, and the setting up of the slideshow for the highlights broke.

It was on its last legs for two years, so it struggled well ever since my first days here.

uh not free to get that to work every single week and this week it finally came they just can't generate slides and can we have a motorcycle please no um and yeah like fixing picking all the images or the yeah the highlights images is manually done by us anyway but then formatting them formatting them into a slideshow that is consistent size wise and you know you're just in the scope of the slideshow

Is so nice to have done by automation because doing it is easy It's just very laborious and very long and those are like hours of work that I have to spend elsewhere so just did not have time to manually sort the highlights out and format them down into Presentation mode today, unfortunately
