I think rogue lights are designed to be very short for possession.
So you just die more often.
And if you are good, you can reach the end of the game within like an hour or two.
Or even two.
1.5 at most.
roguelike might be a much more committed experience and you might not die as quickly as easily, but when you do, it's full-on game over.
