We also felt like releasing it this way, it also worked out better in our general planning for development of the game.
One thing I also want to bring up is the state of dedicated servers.
So, as some people have noticed when you're hosting Update 6 on dedicated servers,
There's a couple of issues of varying degrees, most notably the issues relating to foliage and the issues related to using extractors, both water extractors, regular water extractors and the ones you put on nodes, satellite nodes and stuff like that.
It's important to remember that if you're playing Update 6 on dedicated servers, you are effectively playing an experimental release of the game on an experimental state of dedicated servers.
Development of dedicated servers are running kind of in parallel with the general development of the game, and a lot of issues that are like exclusively happening on dedicated servers, they take a bit longer to sort of troubleshoot and debug and fix than they would in the general game.
So if you are running Update 6 on dedicated servers and you are running into these issues, the best course of action really right now is to roll back to an early access version on dedicated servers, the stable version, and play on that because fixes for dedicated servers will probably take some time, unfortunately.
You know, Satisfactory is a big game and, you know, there's only so many of us working on it.
So this is why we have that experimental label, because it really is experimental.
And once we get back from vacation, then we'll have a better chance to look into these issues.
But for now, that's sort of the state of things as they are.
And I also like to take this moment to mention that I will also go on vacation.
