We decided to reduce the number from three to two because we felt that a lot of players got decision paralysis and we're hoping that reducing the amount down to two will make the decision a little easier.

But wait a second, that means that we'll have less to choose from for every hard drive.

If I'm looking for a specific alt recipe, I'll need to research way more hard drives.

Actually, no, because we've added the ability to re-roll the reward selection.

So for every hard drive you researched, you'll have the option to re-roll the rewards once for the possibility of two new recipes drawn.

This means that for every hard drive, you'll have the chance of viewing four alt recipes from the pool of yet to be unlocked recipes.

Once you've decided to re-roll, you won't be able to select either of the previous two recipes though, so you're taking a little bit of a gamble.

The re-roll will also never grab an alt recipe that has already been presented for that hard drive, so you're essentially guaranteed four unique recipes per hard drive if you choose to re-roll.

And four is more than three, okay?

Quick side note here is that the rewards pool only consists of alt recipes that you can currently take advantage of.
