TechArtist uses Visual Studio Code and Rider.

These are both IDEs.

I mentioned before Rider was an IDE.

Visual Studio Code is one as well.

And these are used for programming, of course.

And so TechArtist uses Visual Studio Code when coding tools and stuff like that.

But when he has to do anything regarding Unreal Engine 4, he tends to use Rider.

Our tech artist also uses Houdini.
