Anyway, in this next segment, we're gonna be talking a little bit about alt recipes.

    2. Jace

      What

    3. Snutt

      are they?

I didn't get them in Final Fantasy.

      In Satisfactory.

      Satisfactory, yeah.

      Oh, alt recipes.

      Yeah, yeah, yeah.

      Yeah, yeah.

So, yeah, alt recipes are a huge aspect of the game.

We don't really talk too much about the decision-making behind them.

So I guess this is a perfect place to do that.

So alt recipes are really there for, you know, they're there as a trade-off for you with the regular recipes.

And it's also a little bit of a carrot for you to explore the map to gather the hard drives.

And also, just in case folks don't, you know, if there's any new people out here, alt recipes, you know, in Satisfactory, you have recipes on how to create certain parts with your machines and things like that.

Alt recipes are just alternate recipes to those that can, you know, so you can make the same part using different materials or make the same part in a different machine.

Yeah, that's basically what the alternate recipes are that we're talking about here.

And there's a few famous ones, right?

    5. Snutt

Yeah, there's like the diluted fuel one.

It's probably the most famous one, I'd say, because it solves the fuel generator, or it makes a more optimized one.

And you have like steel screws, because you always need a lot of screws.

      There's like heavy encased frames.

There's a couple of them that are like a lot more useful than the original recipe.

And, you know, they're also great to handle, like, byproducts, because if you take, like, for instance, the aluminum solution, you know, you get the byproduct of silica, and you can use that to, like, make fine concrete, for instance, which is an old recipe, where you can produce more of

      them.
