If you guys hypothetically made a new game in the future or a satisfactory 2, would you still use Unreal Engine 5?
Yes, if not for any other reason than that is what our developers are by and by a landslide used to the most.
No real reason to change, even if there are other slightly better or just different options.
Change for the sake of change, or change for the sake of chasing something that's promised to be better, but you will end up spending way more time than you would in Unreal, because you have to learn everything again from the ground up, more or less.
Not worth it.
And Unreal 4, by the way, is really good at what it does.
And also with the caveat, of course, that if Unreal jumps to Unreal 6, we'll also hop on and update to Unreal 6 and so forth.
