And while I'm waiting for 1.2, I finished my first playthrough of FF7 Rebirth.
Okay.
Chat.
I needed a JRPG fix.
This is a warm-up section.
See, we're not actually officially supposed to talk about Sin's Factory yet, so I'm allowed.
I had a JRPG fix that needed to be scratched for Winter Vacation, and I thought, I'll try Rebirth again, because I never did finish, like, hard mode, or I never did finish the entire game, even side quests and shit.
I started a new save file, and I just couldn't do it.
Like, I don't know, it's, ambience is great, music is great, but just the map layout, the icons, the watchtowers, the UI-based, like, fetch, fetch quests, fetch everything, radar, I just couldn't get into it.
It was just so video, like, so... Oh, God, let me turn off streams.
Not streams, let me turn off teams, is the word.
I couldn't get back into it.
So I went to Persona 3 instead, and that was a fucking blast, let me tell you, holy moly.
Because I slept on the remake.
I played Persona 3 way, way back when, on the PS2, and liked it a fair bit less than both 4 and especially 5.
But the remake is, it's lost a couple of things, making Persona 3 very Persona 3, for sure, but it's still a hella good game.
Uh, how are you chat?
Tell me a story.
Sometimes a man needs some waifus and giant swords.
I get it.
Nice that I'm heard.
