So thank you all so much for the help with that as well.
Yeah, so it was a little scary in the beginning, embarking on this journey, in my opinion.
We all knew that Satisfactory could be a good game.
The prototype was really fun and addictive, but it was, and it still is, it was and it still is a really, really difficult game to make.
And so no matter how confident we could be upon release, we would never know what the reception would be like.
And it's a factory game, which is like a niche genre, right?
And so I remember like along the journey myself, and I'm sure others as well, I always thought like, ah, shit, is this right?
Is this going to work?
It was many times, it was very scary.
But hey, it worked out, right?
So it's a great game now and it seems like a lot of people are enjoying it and it feels so good.
And so I remember last year when we unveiled the reveal trailer at the PC gaming show on E3.
I remember that night, it was wild.
Everyone else had finished their work and they were down in that big meeting room down there.
And I was stuck here at my desk because the second things got revealed, I had to go and like update all the social medias and stuff, right?
And so as soon as I did, I'm like, oh, update the pictures, update the pictures.
And then I look over at Discord and within minutes, we've got thousands of people
And I never ran a Discord server before.
My mods won't be surprised to hear that at all.
And so I was freaking out.
It was just, the adrenaline was running and I picked up some random mods and they turned out to be amazing and they're still my mods today and they saved me on the Discord and then things took off on Reddit, on Twitter, everywhere.
It was at that moment that I knew I had work to do as a community manager.
So it was very exciting.
I don't know if I'll ever have an experience like that ever again.
