  1. Mikael

Fill as much of the map as possible.

    U object limit who?

    Who object limit who?

    Who?

We have been back and forth with them, right?

    Like briefly?

  2. Jason

    About the U

  3. Mikael

    object

  4. Jason

    limit?

    Yeah.

  5. Mikael

Yes, but... And I ultimately actually take the dev side, which is rare, but I take the dev side on this one, is that upping the U object limit comes with pretty harsh cost...

increases for the game to run very quickly.

And ultimately, the people who really yammer about it being needed, they are, in the grand scheme of things, very, very, very few who genuinely need it.

And if you really, really need to work past it, you can work past it.

Case in point, BL Andrew, I know you're watching this, and many other people for that matter.

Not in the least, Doug and Coffee Cup Studios.

So, it's definitely something that can be marginally improved update by update, we hope, as we go forwards, but don't expect large swats and chunks of that limit being increased.

    At least not yet.

If we can feasibly do it without increasing costs, then yeah.

Because it all also just kind of connects back to the base system requirements on PC at the very least.

I mean, console as well, but those you can't really improve on your own.

The PC requirements, like, we really want those base requirements to stay the same as, you know, long and forever as possible.

And upping the uObject limit is a good way of making sure that doesn't happen, so...

  6. Jason

    Yeah.

John on YouTube says, fill the map two or three dimensions.

    I'm actually curious about that.

Are we taking up airspace, Duggs?

If we do, then that's... Can we get clarification

  7. Mikael

    here?

We can fix it for you.

    I know a guy.

Well, if we take up airspace, we're gonna need way more than between 13,000 and 15,000 machines.
