One really neat thing you can do in the quantum encoder is you can produce synthetic power shards.

So you no longer need to go slug hunting.

That's still going to be a thing in the game, by the way.

It's not like we're replacing power shards with this.

It's just like in the end game, you're going to be able to produce and automate power shards just in case you want to utilize overclocking a lot more in the end game.

And in order to produce synthetic power shards, you need to combine time crystals, dark matter crystals, quartz crystals, and excited photonic matter.

And the last thing I want to mention about the quantum encoder is that it's now possible to produce a new power source in Satisfactory.
