So what is the Customizer?

The Customizer is an expansion to the Build Gun.

It's essentially like the Build Gun 2.0, if you will.

And it expands the customization features that we have in the game.

So that comes to colors, but also the materials and a little bit of pattern making and stuff like that.

The reason why we made the customizer and the reason why we ditched the color gun was because we really wanted to add the customizer because we want to expand the way that you handle customization in the game.

And it wasn't really easy to build these mechanics on top of the already existing build gun.

So for the customizer, we wanted it to be easy to be able to paint multiple objects quickly.

We wanted to be super accessible, so it's part of the building, really, which made it make sense putting it with the build gun.

And we also wanted to tie a lot of its functionality to the hop bar.

And that kind of goes hand in hand with all the decorative stuff that we've added to the game.

We kind of considered having so that when you bring up the customizer, you'd like whip out the color gun and use that.

But we think that would look kind of weird.

And also the way we've kind of built the game made it so that there was just like too much effort to get that work than it was worth to implement it.

So we just decided to ditch the color gun.

The color gun is color gone now.
