So if you mess up and you want to switch back to like the default ones, then those options are still there.
So previously we had 16 or 17 swatches in the game.
Now we have 20 swatches, whereas 19 of these are instanced and one is persistent.
So this is how it worked before as well, right?
So when you painted anything with a swatch, all the materials that you painted that will, will have that color.
And if I paint something else,
these walls with this color then they'll be that color so whenever i edited a swatch uh in the editor here right say to maybe if i load up billy eilish that would be reflected on the walls in the world which is great because that means that you don't have to like repaint everything over and over again if you change your mind so like if you want to tweak the colors or like if you didn't like how that looked then you can just go back and forth like this like oh maybe this is a pretty cool color scheme right
So that's super convenient.
So the problem that we had previously was that you would only have like these 16 swatches that we had before, which means that you could only really have 16 colors active on the map at the same time.
So what we've added is we've added this custom swatch and this one is persistent.
And what that means is that if you paint anything with this custom color and then switch it out to something else, maybe like maybe this one.
and then you paint something else, then the previous color that you painted in will still be there.
It's persistent.
It's going to stick around.
And you can keep doing this for as many times as you want, which means that you now have a lot more options, which is switching to the same colors over again, which means that you now have a lot more options when it comes to painting.
You no longer have just the 16 or 17 or whatever we had different color schemes in the map.
Now you can have
as many as the game supports, or as many colors as the game supports, essentially.
Which is really powerful.
Now you can make big Picasso pieces or big paintings and stuff like that.
So yeah, pretty sweet.
