So if you're not seeing everything with the customizer in the Austin shop, that's probably because you haven't unlocked the progression that you need to see it, essentially.
So here I am in the game.
If you press X, that will give you access to the customizer.
And yeah, we changed the default key bindings because we felt it was important that the customizer was always at your whim.
So it's easy to switch between the regular build mode and the customizer just like that with different key bindings.
So that's why we moved the map to AMP, et cetera.
All the settings that you see in the customizer here, including yeah, everything, everything you see here can be put on your hotbar just so you know.
So yeah, let's just dive in.
There are three main components to the customizer.
You have colors, materials and patterns.
Let's start with materials.
So everything you do in the customizer are used for customizing anything that's already built.
If you want to like set any specific materials to unbuilt,
things.
That's a word now.
So if you want like build walls with the basic fixed wall type, you just select it here in this little dropdown.
If you want the steel walls, you have to select it here.
If you want everything available in the menu, you can do that too.
And you know, like everything else,
If you select the fixed wall and put it on your hard bar on five, you're still able to place the steel wall on six like before, right?
So no change there.
But the customizer is useful for when you want to change something that you already built, right?
So for instance, if you want to change the material on the walls, for instance, I can just select the steel wall material here and then super simple, I can just paint away
and change all the materials and all the walls here, right?
Same goes for foundations.
If I want to fix the foundation, I can just paint away, change that type, right?
Easy as pie, okay?
