So how do you get the customizer?

You get the customizer by unlocking the tier two milestone that's called resource sync bonus program.

And when you do unlock the customizer, it's kind of come like kind of bare bones.

You're only going to be able to like really paint stuff.

And the reason for that is that you need to unlock sort of the functionality of the customizer in the awesome shop.

But

That functionality is also, like with everything else in the game, kind of tied to the regular progression of the game.

So you won't have access to everything when you unlock the customizer, as it's tied to the general progression of the game.

For instance, if you want to be able to use the steel materials, then you'd need to unlock the steel production milestone.

And if you want anything related to glass, then you'd need to research the silica research tree, and then you would be able to unlock those things in the Awesome Shop.

So if you're not seeing everything with the customizer in the Austin shop, that's probably because you haven't unlocked the progression that you need to see it, essentially.
