But Gold was like...

I played Gen 1 having schoolyard fun with it, but Gen 2 felt epic.

Gen 2 was like...

when I could just walk around the unknown ruins in the OG Pokémon Gold and be like, there must be a secret door here to catch Celebi or stuff around.

I could spend senseless time in that game forever.

And Gen 3 was very nice.

I mainly stuck with Leaf Green, like the Kanto remix in Gen 3.

Hoenn is great, but I would be more strangely nostalgic about the Kanto remix in Gen 3.

But in 4 and 5...

4 and 5 was where I was into online competitive Pokémon, and Gen 4 also, including the remakes of two, HeartGold and SoulSilver, quite easily made HeartGold and SoulSilver my favorite games, bar none.

They're so, so, so good, and I lost my OG copy a few years back.

The metal frames we saw from Dynamech last week were on display like so, but they seemed very, maybe I don't remember properly, but I don't remember these pipes going down into like a sinkhole beneath them, so that's a very nice touch for this one at this train station.
