Any plans on adding more achievements?

    Nice name, by the way.

Maybe for completing the game using random resource nodes or some other ways to increase... Other ways...

    Sorry.

Maybe for completing the game using random resource nodes or some other ways to increase reasons to start playing again.

Yes, we do plan on adding more achievements, eventually.

No, it's not going to be for 1.2, and when the new achievements down the line come in, maybe they could retroactively incorporate some of the 1.2 stuff.

    The reason we...

    I know that...

game modes and especially multipliers they do seem like on the surface they do seem like a surefire oh yeah this is essentially hard mode so doing this should absolutely reward you with an achievement achievements in how a player perceives them so achievements are

from what I've gathered just working here now, from a lot of back-behind-the-scenes logistics talks when we made achievements for the first place with 1.0, and, again, having played games for 30 years now myself, like, I know achievements are probably the de facto, like, yes, when I complete all achievements, I am done with the game, even though the in-game rewards are not all fully unlocked.

If the achievements tab or trophies tab

or gamerscore tab says you're done with the game, that's when you're done with the game.

You don't have to, like, do everything the internal game tells you to.

Which leads adding achievements for harder and more difficult things to do in games being a very...

I forget how that sentence started, so this grammar might be jumbled.

    That's a slippery slope.

    And

Now, we added some very absurd numbers, both with randomization and especially with the multipliers.

We fully knew that adding max multipliers to parts, power,

would result in the game taking forever to complete.

And that's something you do purely for shits and giggles.

And maybe, if you're a psychopath, a handful of people will actually, without cheats or AGS, finish the entire game with full multipliers.

But even if you don't talk full multipliers, even just the second or third step, that's already exponential increases for every step in the production line of any production in Satisfactory.

So you are asking for a lot of game time for achievements for game modes.

This is the ramble of why specifically we would not add achievements most likely.

Maybe we could for randomized nodes specifically, but never for multipliers.

    But yeah.

In general, otherwise, I don't think we are done with achievements.

The studio doesn't think we are done with achievements.

    Already on it, of course.

Yep, six biomass burners to run a smelter.

    Case in point.

    And that's tier zero.

    Or one, by the way.

    So...
