Another tool that they use is Substance Designer.
Substance Designer is kind of this like node-based procedural texture creation tool kind of thing.
And basically we just kind of use that to generate or create textures from scratch that we then use in the game.

They also use Substance Designer, another one that we mentioned earlier.
And he would use Substance Designer to create textures, but specifically kind of like noise textures, which can be useful for various reasons in VFX.
And lastly, he also uses Adobe Photoshop, and this is also for just tweaking textures or noise maps and things like that.

Our tech artist also uses Substance Designer for exporting textures or uses the node graph that's available in Substance Designer to script and essentially use it as like a pipeline tool.
I've seen some things that he's made where he would use it to, if he's got a bunch of textures that he wants to include in one,
texture, he could use it to lay out the textures neatly so they don't overlap or anything like that.
And he doesn't have to do it manually himself just to speed up the process.
