when opening the Codex or icon selection on a sign the cursor is not in the search bar like when opening the quick search why so the main reason for this and this is not just in this case there's a couple of reasons there's a couple of other occasions and that is because sometimes you want to use the buttons on the keyboard to do things with the menu that aren't tied to the search bar so for instance if you open, one example of this is when you open the build menu you can search in the build menu but the thing is if we open the build menu and then immediately give, highlight the the search bar if you press Q to close the build menu you can't you can't I don't know why I went to a British accent, because now the search thing has Focus so like if you're opening menus with the the key buttons, and you want to close them immediately so like if you open the Codex with O and you want to close the codec with o immediately after you open it, then if we give the search bar immediately Focus then you can't do that essentially and that's the main reason and that's it's really annoying, we found when we were trying this, so like we would rather have it so you can pick it or tab or whatever, to go to the search bar rather than have it, set by default, and that's I think something that may not be super obvious unless you try it, but that's the main reason so yeah
