Is the spline hitbox issue why we don't have buildable road pieces that behave like rails and belts do? Possibly. I don't know that. But it makes sense cuz splines are only applied to belts, pipes, and hyper tubes. So them working or stuff working separately from those three in other ways could very well have to do with them being based on something other than splines. Because again, the concept of a spline is that it's imagine a rectangle. If you if you missed the pre-bug talk section of the stream, imagine a rectangle with points and then this rectangle being kind of like curvable, modifiable, just like belts and pipes and tubes, not so much, road pieces or, side blocks.
