out all right so who are are you guys and what do you do at coffee stain normally hello I'm Gabrielle I'm a technical artist for coffee stain and, it's kind of difficult to explain what I do exactly because, I basically work on a different thing every day can go from bfx to optimization to making tools for designers and such and yeah that's me hello from me I am Vladimir, I'm a devops engineer here so it's even harder to explain what exactly I'm doing here because, let's say all around the bills after mate routine pushing bills to the different platforms so yeah that's it so what game Jam game did you work on and what's it about yeah we worked on ds. iio and thans is basically meant to simulat the experience of you getting in a Lobby of an old multiplayer game that's abandoned so basically the lobby is just fill to the bring with fers and stuff and you need to either push your way through it and climb the leader boards or just leave go play something else, which is what happens yeah I thought our game all about toxic chat in community so it's online yeah of course yeah 7 million concurrent players yeah it's too much locally hosted on the servers damn this is why we have the most biggest ping in the world so what did you work on for the game specifically so I work with UI partly and mostly some and music in the game so it was it was my first time when I trying to touch something inside an Unreal Engine and was Sound and Music so it was really curious to see how people works and I even got one advice from our sound designer in coffee stain Sasha thanks him for help, he he said Vladimir why don't you use a [ __ ] just to and you know that that was a game changer so for now our game sounds is 10 of the 10 so yeah thanks again Sasha yeah also shout out to Sasha again because he helped us record The Voice lines for our game and I mean he he didn't consent to it to be fair we just kind of busted in his office and forced him to record them processor sounds but that worked out really well I think that really added a nice layer of humor to the game Los so what's the best part about the game either making it or playing it or anything else yeah honestly just watching people play it was really really good cuz I mean they were either garbage at the game or they were trying really hard to, to get the high score such as Mikel here, fits that he couldn't achieve actually CU like, right at the end he got beaten by Tobias one of our programmers and he got what it 2,300 yep yeah a big score you beat me by 200 oh yeah God damn it man yeah so our game is small but it's so competitive and I didn't realize how competitive it is until people in studio starting playing on that so it was really nice to see and also how we are both working together in our team because, when you see then you see the new comments after comments so we can do more to your game just and in each evening you can see that the game is completely different from the stage of the morning so yeah and, I think I like how our teams managed yeah the development actually went super smoothly like we pretty much had a complete game after the first day so after that it was basically just polishing and adding new stuff and, yeah also we had a lot of trust in each other so we're like yeah just just do your thing and I trust it to be good and it was so yeah the development actually went super smoothly and super fast if you could add one sport to satisfactory what would you add man honestly I would probably add Motor Racing so we should add like the the the starting grid and checkpoints along the way you could connect them to each other to form a circuit you can race with your friends and get the best love times I think that would be really really cool yeah I think we can basketball why not so just thring your teammates to the basket case yeah or maybe just add like a nice physics poll in the game so that people can just make up their own sports the tools they already have water sports water sports no snow Sports who are you guys and what do you
