so the main reason why I'm not playing up that eight is because, for some reason when it comes to like the graphics card crashes and whatnot, for some reason some of the later tier and video cards are like the worst offenders so like for instance I have a 1080 at home, the game runs fine on that it runs super smooth but for some reason when I play it on my work computer where I have a 3070, it just shits the bed and, I'd rather not like restart the stream 40 000 times because the game keeps crashing, when streaming it so hence why and for some reason on my work computer I've had major issues, with the drivers for this game so it's weird at home I can run Lumen on my 1080 like perfectly fine, no issues here not so much at 3fps the game can crash because can't run the crash report that's that's concerning foreign like the weird thing is too is like some people have the same Hardware and for some people it works fine and for some people it doesn't it's, it's fun we have made a lot of progress, on this topic though this is not an update now you can tell from the fact that there's no like experimental Banner we hopefully will switch to update throughout this playthrough eventually no power oh did we run out don't you love this part of the day it's not supposed to be perfect it's supposed to be annoying y'all oh I didn't have enough switch it back to play through will last until 1.0 I mean that would be cool- I do want to like finish this game like completed eventually and I guess effectively that won't be possible if they won't know but all right give me we're done handcrafting y'all give me stuff how much do I have just one stack come on come on will there be news about the upcoming update so, the only news I have today is that hopefully by the end of the week we'll we can there's going to be a video where we can share some news regarding updated, since we've only been back from vacation for two days like this is our second day, you know we don't fully we don't have our plants fully laid out part of us yet, so I can't really talk too much as to like what's gonna happen but there's been work going into the game while we've been on vacation the the little gnomes I've been working on the game while we were gone, no but it's been work a lot of work has gone into the game since last time we patched, eventually but right now as of today we don't fully know how we're gonna proceed with patching and whatnot any updated optimization news yeah so we haven't made we've made a lot of Headway actually, some things we have fixed some things we have just like figured out what is causing some history issues, if you roll back the Vaude to state of Dev I talk a little bit about that early in the Stream I actually I feel like I'm blanking out I'm not going to be able to remember all the stuff I said so recommend checking out the earlier part of this stream, and, during the state of debt if you want to know about that stuff but we have made a lot of progress all that stuff but I don't have any news as to like when you can expect to see patches for update you can watch the the if you don't want to watch this you can still I don't know if you guys knew this but you can watch the VOD of a live stream while it's live stream is going, on Twitch if you go to like the channel and then go to the videos and then this should be like a video and then you can scrub back but that tldr is essentially we've made a lot of Headway, in that area and like some good news some bad news is that some things we need epic to help us with and they don't have an ETA as to like when they can help us out or like when they can fix things it's not like they're it's we've reported bugs in the Unreal Engine too epic and they're like oh yeah that's a good catch we should fix that and they've given us some like here's here's how you can get around that for now make it a little bit better but I don't know if that actually solves something but anyways, at the end of this week I hope I can get out of video to like sort of address some of these things more in detail and give you guys an update as to like what the plans are going for because as of today I don't know what our plans are so I can't say what our plans are not that I don't want to is that I can't you know you know that's a cinch what time is it four so I'm gonna do a quick revamp for anyone joining recently if you're wondering what's up with the office thing what's up with you guys, we just got back from vacation and I need wire cable and, we we're sort of sorting things we're sorting ourselves out we're figuring out what to do we've legit you know most of the theme just got back but not a lot has been I can't formalize my own thoughts right now like we haven't like figured out what to do patching wise for update it yet so we don't have an ETA on like when we think update is going to come out a stable Branch we don't know when we're going to kick off the next round of patches what we're going to be patching Etc stuff like that but we have made some leeway in terms of figuring out the performance issues, because like we're also trying to like make sense of what we're going like what a finished up to date would look like you know because we do have the performance issues and we don't think it's like really acceptable to release up to date in the state of it is where people are constantly crashing and like you know all that kind of stuff and like running into hitches and performance stuff, so like that's prior one for us when it comes to fixing up today we also need to sort of come to terms with you know there's not going to be any new features I think for updating or anything like that or you know but we do need to fix some bugs we need to figure out what like type of bugs we need to fix you know what to what degree do we keep like patching up up today before we move on and work on the next thing we're working on, of course satisfactory so, so that's what we're doing but we have made a lot of progress, when it comes to like picking out the performance some of it has been resolved on our end and we just kind of like want to push it out and see how people like what happens some things are dependent on Epic and they've like acknowledged that like yeah there are certain issues some things that we, that they are working on but they don't have an ETA and, like that puts on a weird spot where like okay do we wait on that picture like what do we do here there's no experimental tag that is correct that is because I didn't wanna like I didn't want to jeopardize the stream by crashing the game constantly because, at the moment there's like a couple of graphics cards like newer graphics cards that are causing more issues than others so like I have a 370 at work for some reason that one is very prone to trash and I have a 1080 at home works perfectly fine at home but for some reason on my work computer it does not it's not blame Nvidia, it's it's it's both epic and Nvidia I think the engine version we were on we had a ton of place here I didn't pick these up, had some graphic card issues but that has been since the later engine version has been fixed so we'll get there do you have 49er to test on I don't know if we do actually I don't know if we have 490 well maybe we do because we have a we have a prevailing machine at work that does like we have a low spec PC and we have a high spec PC, to run tests on and we run those like every night so every night we get like a Performance Reading from the game so like if somebody commits something during the day we noticed that like holy the frame rate just absolutely tanked then we can be like, -, you messed up redo and it's possible that like that high spec PC has a 40 90. but I don't know the specs of those computers it's not high spec enough
