Did you know the critically acclaimed MMO RPG Final Fantasy XIV aka 14 has an expanded free trial where you can play it to level 70 for free with no playtime restrictions. Almost true. Almost true. It was funny to me when they announced the Stormb Blood would be part of which is the level 70 expansion would be part of the free trial going forwards. I was like, "Oh this means people can actually play two of the games six ultimate fights for free, but you're locked out of ultimate if you play the free trial." Unfortunate, which to be fair, yeah, I mean, you're still you, this is not even this is not even like me standing. F14 pound for pound has to be the most worthwhile in terms of just sheer value for money. the most worthwhile free trial in the entire world. Now, video game, debatable. I'll I'll be the one to say it. Mo most worthwhile game, absolutely debatable. But most worthwhile game to play for free with the sheer amount of content you get for free. Yep, if it is your jam, of course. Ah, random 14 ad. There you go. Uh, something wrong with me. The second I hear 14, my brain goes. I had I was living there. Alens, I was living there like, God. I was ashamed to admit, now I'm not as ashamed to admit that 20 like the latter half of 2022, all of 23 and the beginning of 24 like was literally me breathing that game. Like- I the amount that I played was again like most of it I don't even regret. Made some fantastic friends. Still talked to them. Met them every met them at FanFest. Laugh to tears most times we play the game. And times you spend laughing surely can't be time wasted. like mostly. But god the way the way if MMOs or if Final Fantasy or if some amalgamation like just JRPGs in general are your jam and you haven't played 14, stay away from it because the way this game ticks if you get into it and the way all the content is still playable, catch upable literally makes for 10,000 plus hours of stuff you can actually do, which is insane. Like, oh god, there is so much content in that game. Nah. Satisfactory RPG when who knows. I would like to be a red mage in my factory so I could take on Johnny. Listen, listen. I don't play 14. Not even close to as much as I used to. It's mostly left my brain in terms of permanently permanently occupying thoughts. But whenever someone writes DRG for Deep Progalactic, my brain just always instantly reads, "Oh, Dragoon." Okay. No, DRG in my world should mean Deep Progalactic. But to me, it's always going to be Dragoon. Uh, it's the worst game. Just awful. Are we talking about F14 or Satisfactory? Cuz we actually won best game, best PC game of the year last year. Just saying.
