I do wish the map unlock was available earlier in progression you know what like I played so long without the map and then like and then I came across in the map and I was like oh yeah I remember we have a map and then I got the map and like I still never use it it's like I don't know if you it could also maybe be I'm not sure if this is an actual reason but I can sort of see that the map is locked to to kind of make you stay still to make you stay put where you are so that you stick to sort of what you know and what's familiar and you sort of build up from there and then getting the map sort of gives you some motivation to start exploring because then you can find your way back home or something and and maybe that's you know an effort to not give you too much too soon possibly that doesn't sound like a completely stupid reason it could be a good reason who knows
