well I should so mods don't work on update8 at the moment we don't develop the mods the mods are completely handled by the modding community so it's sort of like, up to them to sort of like updating the the tools that they have for the modding, scene so they can update the mods so that you can support mods in update a

, we we fully support the modding scene like the modding Community we love what they're doing I think it's awesome that we have moding support for satisfactory we don't have official modding support but you know there there's it's possible to to get mods for satisfactory at least and I think that's really dope and, we're we've been trying to help them out as much as we can but we can't like pause the update just so mods can sort of get the stuff out we really need to to keep our schedule so to speak, so modding support is not in yet but I'm sure that they'll get to like they've been working really hard on on getting that in and if you want to get the latest information when it comes to mods, make sure to join the modding Discord, you can find it over on our Discord or, just search for satisfactory mods or go to fix it.app, you can get a link there and and so so that those people in there will have the latest information and when it comes to mods and satisfactory if you have mods installed the best way to uninstall mods is to use the mod manager that the modding Community have set up, the, and and like yeah uninstall mods using the mod manage is the best way to go because if you start ripping out files on your hard drive and whatever, that might may not always uninstall everything and if you get a crash when you boot up update 8 and you get like the crash reporter and it says like the line there's like a line at the top that says like is using mods yes that means that the mod manager the mod loader is still trying to load mods, and it's failing because mods aren't updated it might be failing because like you you don't have it set up for mods and it's still trying to load mods, so just disable mods you can boot into vanilla using the mod manager you don't have to uninstall the mod manager at all you can just flake a switch and, that'll be it and the final thing I want to talk about before
