Let's, first of all let's kick off the stream by selling

out, oh wait before we go to that segment also real quick, another thing that I forgot to mention during my like good good info to have is that once update 8 comes out on Early Access, mods will break, modding support is not officially there, all the mods are created by our modding Community, but we love the modding Community I think we're they're doing a great job they're amazing they have maintained the modding scene for satisfactory for a long time we did not think that when we launched satisfactory in Early Access I think maybe it didn't take long before mods starting started to pop up and we did not anticipate that at all we we always wanted to see mods for our game and in fact we've developed the game with mods in mind, the save system is designed to be in such a way that it makes for easy modding and save editing there are systems in the game that have been designed specifically so like it's easy to like hook into stuff, so so we always had mods in mind when we were making satisfactory we're always surprised at like how quickly they came up and we have a fantastic modding scene, right now where they're maintaining their old tools, we might not have like Steam Workshop or the Epic version of Workshop or whatever ever but the community has really picked up you know that and you know the the the tools that they have for for both Distributing mods but also loading the mods and the endine and all that stuff is is fantastic so so people always ask us if we support the modding scene or whatever and it's such a I guess it it depends on what kind of game people are making but I wonder if like the modding scene maybe have gotten a a bit of a like a a weird I don't know view from developers or something but we definitely don't feel that way we love our modding scene, that being said and we are trying to help them as much as we can but that being said currently, mods are not supported for update 8, since we did two engine versions updates, since update 8 launch on experimental you know modern Community had to First patch up the old the the Unreal Engine 5.1 and then when we draw 5.2 they had to do that again and they're still doing that and that's still work in progress, and if you want to know know more about sort of the state of things I recommend going going to the modding Discord, and check that out and, I'm sure they're going to get to a point where mods will work again, for update8 soon CU they are very they're very hardworking people and they're also incredibly, I want to say talented but I don't like that word because that word implies that they just they've been working hard on this stuff you know what I mean, and they're really good at this stuff so I'm sure it won't take too long, and another a good point remember to back up your saves as well but but on the topic of mods by the way, if you have mods installed and you load up update a, your game is going to crash and you're probably going to get a popup in the Crasher border that said like there's a line in there at the top that says like is using mods if that says yes you still mods are still being loaded into the game and it's not going to work no matter how hard you try so you need to uninstall mods the best way to uninstall mods is to use the mod manager that you use to download the mods it's easier just flip it to vanilla or whatever, and not like manually, uninstalling mods because the loader can still be active in the background, just deleting files doesn't necessarily mean that the mods are, out of the game so to speak the modules can still be loaded so so just be aware of that as well all right that's that I'm just going to double check my notes again so I don't jump around back and forth all the time cuz that's that's how it is right now, yeah cool I'm going to re-echo this information throughout the stream because no no one nobody watched this whole stream through or do they if you are you're insane but anyways, I
