thank you I wish the mic wasn't a better spot wait this is annoying wait sorry this is the weirdest ASMR you're ever gonna experience all right oh wait, wait one second I started prematurely there we go all right this isn't, this keeps resetting so annoying there we go all right hey everyone welcome session right here I speak through my nose today all right anyways let's see here all right I also forgot to, boot up this [ __ ] all right hey everybody welcome to this very professional opening for for the stream, should be fine now okay hey everybody welcome hope you're all doing good well fine would respect nothing else shut up no you wouldn't You're Expecting the highest quality of, you know what I mean you know what I mean all right anyways welcome to to the week Dev stream I have less beard it is true it the beard is gone the beard, ran away I got sick and tired of it so I cut it up cut it cut it out of my life you know what I'm saying, highest quality shenanigans that that's for sure that's that's definitely for sure how's that everyone doing rare shave moment yes it's like the the process of me shaving is I shave and then I don't have any energy to shave again and then it grows for a bit and then when I get really tired of it it's like in the way and [ __ ] I shave it again so that's that's the process it's a three month cycle ah might be actually like I'm not sure how often I shave actually it's like when it starts feeling gross and [ __ ] and I'm like I don't understand people that keep up with the maintenance like I know people have super long beards but, that's not for real this is a really high high, high stakes Tuesday by the way just just FYI I'm like really sleepy because my dog woke up in the middle of the night and threw up and nothing wakes you up faster than when you hear like a dog going like I'm just like flying out of the bed, so slido think link doesn't work right really set it up so it should work let me see what's up with that she did I like fail to because it's wait let me do this wait that's not that did I not save when I changed it that would be classic me 43 save let's try that again now it's updated did I not save the other one either let's see I did save that one so okay so I did half the job today that's that's more than usual okay, but yeah it's it's annoying yeah I woke up middle of the night and, when that happens it like my whole day is is is messed up so now you know now you got an insight into my life Good Times coffee for snoot now I don't drink coffee, I actually get tired from drinking coffee so it's it is not for me

it is not, the coffee life for snow anyways today's gonna be a fun stream because the mic is in the way geez no no matter where I put this [ __ ] what about this one it says fine over here this [ __ ] but then it's on whatever, no Andrew today's actually a fun stream, because at the end of the stream we're going to be checking out a very like, would you call it not delayed but well it is delayed all right we're gonna check out the past pass it on event that was, that was from June, for those who don't know pass it on event is like a community event where people, streamers or people in community in general, hang out and and do sort of the thing where, people build on like a grid and then they build something based on a theme and then the save file and pass it on someone else and then, the event is whoops maybe that's why I don't have it there, and then, the event is voted on and and then there's a winner, and yeah this event ran in June and I believe they already voted on a winner but we're gonna be checking out what was made and one also fun fact is that the next pass it on event the sign up for that one is open now it's going to be in November and the theme is going to be, Halloween so that's going to be pretty cool so, yeah that's what we're doing today after at the end of the stream so we'll do that after the big q a thingy I have the look at that there's there's the agenda it's pretty pretty much business as usual, on the stream for now, with the addition of the little passing on event at the end, so yeah that's that's it let's, that's that's gonna be the stream let's jump into state of Dev and, we'll talk about what's going on in the world for coffee stain so, we are working off today I wish I had a nickel for every time I said that and, we're we're doing pretty good progress actually we, I think- I did post a video last week that videos I think was more like a general q a and I think most people here on the stream have probably heard most of those answers already so I don't think there was anything new for you guys in that video, but we are working on up to date and we are making good progress on upside eight and I think the I mentioned that video and I think I mentioned on stream as well that like the current, I wouldn't say plan but like the the aspiration is that we're going to have, going to be able to release the next round of patches on on experimental the 0.9.2 patch will be coming out sometime in October and we're in October now so anytime now and in time, and then once it's at an experimental we'll take sort of you guys's feedback on like any bugs that we've missed or any issues that we, you have yet to look into I think there's going to be a couple of issues we already know at the point when when the patch goes out on experimental but, then we'll take that time to sort of do the last round of patching up until we can release it on the Early Access branch

, and, usually that takes like a couple of weeks, up to a month honestly but, it sort of depends we'll see we sort of play we'll play it by ear a little bit when the update drops on experimental and we'll see how good it is because, we've actually had a significant time to do General QA on the game now for with this patch, we're working on we're working on two things we're working on upgrading the engine to 5.2 the new Unreal Engine version I know there's a new one but ignore that for now and we also swapped out our online subsystem that we're using in the back end which won't affect you guys too much honestly, we won't it doesn't fix like the the offline bug with like crib character spawning thingies it's more of a back-end thing really and, I think that, I think that's it I think I just covered everything actually think about it, I think you're really hard now I think that's it yeah I feel I felt like there was one more thing but maybe I'll remember like two hours into the stream and I'll be like [ __ ] I forgot this thing but then I can talk about it in the in the rewind, so, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah cool anyways
