even governments in extend exponentials during pandemic yeah I've gotten a couple of comments from people that are like hey snoot I don't think people understand how linear functions work when they're discussing, but it is that's kind of why it's a tricky thing to explain too if people are not like fully aware of like what the current system even how it works and I think that kind of tells a tale too, as to the other side also like people don't understand how exponential yeah yeah like and in the sense that I mean people can inherently understand linear function but an exponential one is extremely hard to wrap your head around how it actually evolves yeah because I think where you've got that whole story with the with the chess board and the rice brains and then eventually yeah exactly and that's the moral of that story nobody understands exponential the moral of the stories people don't know math so yeah
