yeah this spot's pretty good so my rash has just been flaring up again it started out like Madagascar it's more like grease you should get that checked out watch out that's a bloodthirsty killer that is you're right but it doesn't have to be this way because in update seven we're introducing game modes very good the [ __ ] music cut yeah yeah it was really good this this shot here is really good out like acting was amazing Taco thank you very much for the sub by the way much appreciated thank you thank you, yeah I think the acting was pretty good here and then like the zoom in Linus was doing like manual zooming super good no what if that's a bloodthirsty killer that is you're right but it doesn't have so yeah go on it's so cool that we have that prop too we didn't think about that when we were filming or like when we were setting this shot up and then we were like wait we have the [ __ ] Casino Badger we're gonna use it in shot now yeah yeah yeah and, and the the plush so the this is actually different to the script what happened in the script was that we would turn the corner and there would be a cute little lizard doggo sitting there and, the idea that I had when I was writing the script was like we'd take some like we either like CGI the the doggo in or we'll just take, some in-game footage of the Dogo just sitting there looking cute and and you know it'll be like whoa It's a bloodthirsty killer and the dog was just like just chilling like all happy that was like that was like what was supposed to happen, but then on like in the moment we're like oh we can't really this isn't it didn't feel quite right and we we didn't really know how we're gonna stop the shot and then I was also thinking like ah then we're gonna have to try and get this like really good shot in Bureau later not really sure but then I kind of who came up with it to be this way it was also that, we were every shot we all always wanted to get in a Jace clone somewhere yeah to be referenced that's right and and we were like wait how do we get a Jay's clone into this shot and then we're like oh we just filmed some b-roll I guess for you laying down Dead with the lizard dog or something like that but then it turned into you actually like fighting it yeah while we were filming it yeah so we had to yeah we just kind of like figured that out on the spot it's pretty good yeah there's a lot of improvising as we go, I think which is yeah because because I think this shot I don't think we like when we were filming this decided like let's do it this way I think this just kind of came together by things just kind of happening yeah so like I think Mason took this shot and edit and it made sense and you know that it just became the shot yeah yeah- I like that things can organically grow as well like in the moment in the edit like there's space for that too so but the the thing that makes me feel like it fills me with anxiety sometimes when I think about this I'm like but then what if we didn't take this shot like we never planned to what if we didn't think to do it like it's it's it always feels like it feels like we get lucky every single time but we have like a fallback sort of because like you mentioned we were gonna do like in-game at least yeah yeah or something like that you know so you would have some footage of the lizard doggo yeah, so there would be something and then we fought we filmed this as well and then it turned out like, let's just go with this it's better yeah but, but then yeah the and then the thing that I'm- I kind of want to say was like it does feel like we get lucky every time but yeah there's something to the fact that we get lucky every time right so we should just like trust in the fact that it'll be okay you know we'll figure it out so that's good it's all about problem solving yeah pretty much pretty much improvising yeah filmmaking is all about problem solving- I remember, what's his name the dude who directed the, shazam movie he's a Swedish like it's kind of random because it's a Swedish YouTuber who made like two horror films and then somehow he managed to get like a [ __ ] deal with DC to make a [ __ ] full-on it's kind of crazy but he had a YouTube channel where he he essentially like talked about the the process of being a director and he's not he's not like he himself says I'm not a good director because I've only directed like three films and I've panicked every single [ __ ] time and I don't know what I'm doing he essentially talks about a lot of yeah but directing is mostly problem solving like you realize like even big budget films they have like like oh [ __ ] this is not the right like backdrop we thought when we were scouting this, we need to remove it, we can do that with CGI or we can do this thing right we can move these around or yeah the C needs to change or like oh [ __ ] we forgot they're not wearing shoes here let's change the order of of sequence and stuff like that it's quite interesting to hear from like a director of that, like making big budget movies talking about that stuff yeah because like my impression as well with like like crew and stuff like that on sets in in big films too like they're constantly just fixing [ __ ] and and like like problem solving it sounds really hectic but like so like in a lot of ways the way we film these the same process is just we're we're three people instead of you know 50 people you know dude we have to solve them in different in different manners based on what resources we have so like the process is just kind of there and that you kind of need to follow the process to make anything at all yeah it results in a pretty pretty good vibe I think though yeah you know there are videos I don't take themselves too seriously
