yeah, why do you take gas damage while with the gas mask in a car traveling through gassy areas ah yes that old bug the the the reason for that is because, when you get like when you equip stuff you equip it to character right when you get in vehicles we unequip everything because it caused issues with something, that also unequips the mask and there's no good like easy solution to that so we need to like rework how the equipment works then we've not done that since
