Uh, is the release date for console the 3rd of October 2025? I saw it on Reddit with a screenshot to back it up. Nope, it is not. You can hard confirm that right now. It's not a joke or anything. Um, there were there was a date on the Xbox Wishlist store page or Xbox store page. Yeah. Um, and that date should have been the, the date for 1.1 launching. So, the same date as the page going live basically. Yeah. We are sorry for those who saw that and got excited. That was certainly a goof. Uh and it's possible that, this 3rd of October date is also something that was going up and we don't know why, but no. No confirmed dates. No confirmed dates including this. Uh announced in September 2024. Expected Q125 before 1.1. Now likely not before September 25. reporting issue or miscommunication with Fish Labs. Uh yes, we did say communicate or communication, consoles would hit early this year. Q1. Was it Q1? Was I think we said early May May Q1? I forget it. Let's just say we said Q1. Uh and then we did come out and say they are delayed. Like they were actually delayed. Uh that is very true. They were delayed from Q1 to later this year. Still this year. Um, not really a porting issue or miscommunication issue. I can't talk much about why they were delayed. The there there are valid reasons as to why they were, but when they were, we just realized that the timeline shifted so that it made more sense because the consensus for a bit there, I think I'm allowed to talk about this, and if I'm not, it. I'll risk it anyway. I think the consensus for the briefest moment was that consoles were delayed from Q1 to later, but the aim was still to get consoles out before 1.1. Uh just because that was what planning looked like already on the table. And then when we when we realized how much later consoles would be pushed and that much later is basically beyond June July 2025 we realized oh wait that's actually very unreasonable in terms of how long people would then have to wait for 1.1 and that's when we shifted 1.1 to be finished before consoles and, the team focus and just like read it's, I hope it I hope it sounds, believable. because it it very much is true. Like just the act of shifting a an entire team's work tasks and focus. I say especially in game development, but I can only really speak for game development. Uh in game development is actually a very like annoying thing because there are so many micro things going on at the same time at a game studio always. So this just entire shift from consoles to 1.1. So 1.1 could so 1.1 could release before consoles. Um then pushed both things down the line just a little smidge. And then yeah like, consoles being arbitrarily delayed quite a lot later than Q1. Mainly had to do with 1.1 having to release first. Uh we just had someone enter the studio. Let me just see what Look, he's running here now. This little exciting creature. Who is this? Uh, bottom line, game dev's hard and should happen sometimes, but the the team's been hard at work. I got a new phone chat. Look at this. There's there's there's a good
